DOVER (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: The Dover Police Department is investigating a home invasion burglary that occurred on Wednesday morning on McKee Rd., in Dover.

Police were dispatched at approximately 12:30 a.m., for the home invasion incident in the Unit Block of McKee Road.

According to police, Officers contacted a 53-year-old male who advised that he heard glass break at the rear of his residence. Unable to get up quickly due to a medical condition, the wife checked on the noise and was confronted by two black male suspects with handguns. The male victim gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspects fled.
