57-Year-Old man shot and killed in Browntown early Tuesday morning police say

A 57-Year-Old man is dead and his killer is being sought after the man was shot in the city’s Browntown Community Tuesday morning. 

WILMINGTON (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 2:17 a.m. in the 100 block of Cedar Street. 

Police say officers located a 57-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds who after being treated on scene by EMS, was transported to a local area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. 

This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
