Detectives are confident they know who shot two men in White Hall Thursday morning

Investigators say the investigation is ongoing; however, detectives are confident that they have identified the participants.

NEW CASTLE (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: Two men were treated and released after being shot in the White Hall community Saturday morning New Castle County Police said in a news release.

Police say it was just before 12 Noon Thursday July 7, 2022, when patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Auburn Drive for the report of a shooting that had just occurred.

When the officers arrived at the scene, police say the victims, who were only identified as a  33-Year-old and a 29-Year-Old, had fled and went to a local area hospital where they were treated and released.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation.

Investigators say the investigation is ongoing; however, detectives are confident that they have identified the participants.
