Two people who were shot and sent to area hospitals Tuesday night included a 17-Year-Old boy who was critically wounded. 

WILMINGTON (DE) DNTV: Wilmington Police are investigating two separate shootings in the city that left a teen in critical condition and a 45-Year-Old in stable condition.

Police say the first shooting occurred just before 7:15 p.m. Tuesday July 19, 2022 in the 700 block of North Tatnall Street. Police say officers located a 45-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

There’s no word yet on a motive but police say the incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact Detective Detective Joran Merced at (302) 576-3637. Police say the second shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday July 19, 2022 in the 1100 block of Anchorage Street. Police say officers located a 17-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say the incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
