2022-Michael Kressman (30) 03/03/22: On March 3, 2022, at approximately 12:05 a.m., Delaware State Police responded to the 200 block of Jeffrey Drive, in the London Village Community, for a male, with an apparent gunshot wound to his torso. Through investigative measures, Delaware State Police Homicide Detectives determined Christopher Evans,19, of Dover, was sitting inside a vehicle arguing with a female acquaintance through the car window when the argument escalated to a physical altercation. When the victim, Michael Kressman, 30, of Magnolia, came to the aid of the female, he was shot by Keyonte Brown, 21, of Dover, who was also in the vehicle. Michael was transported to an area hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced deceased.

Brown has been charged with first degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. He is being held at SCI on a $1,085,000 cash bond.

Evans has been charged with aggravated menacing, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. He was held at SCI on a $24,000 secured bond.
