DOVER, DE (DNTV): The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Monday afternoon, leaving a 23-year-old Dover man injured.
Police say the investigation began when Dover Police received a call for a shooting in the unit block of Village Drive at 3:57 p.m.
Officers responded and located the victim police said, who had sustained a gun shot wound to his lower body.
He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. His injuries are described as non-life threatening.
Detectives are working to obtain a suspect description at this time.
