DOVER, DE (DNTV): One person escaped serious injury Monday night during a mobile home fire in North Little Creek, Delaware, the Dover Fire Department says.
It happened on Monday March 13, 2023, at around 4:47 p.m. when Kent County Communications Center dispatched the Dover Fire Department for a trailer fire in the 1500 block of North Little Creek Rd.
After the center received additional calls about the fire, the fire incident was upgraded to a working alarm and additional fire companies including Dover Fire Department, Little Creek Fire Co., Saint Francis EMS, Camden-Wyoming Fire Co, Kent County Department of Public Safety, and City of Dover Fire Marshals Office was dispatched to the scene to assist.

A Dover Fire department Engine arrived within minutes and found a single wide manufactured home fully involved.
As the fire crew was Stretching the line a person was found on the ground outside the trailer alert and breathing. The individual was assisted and moved to another area away from the trailer and was eventually transported to a local area hospital for an evaluation.
After an extensive search, no other victims were found to be inside the trailer and all occupants were accounted for outside.
The fire was placed under control within an hour.
