Detectives have since determined that the victim’s injury was the result of a shooting incident that took place in the 800 block of North Jackson Street.
WILMINGTON, DE (DNTV): Wilmington Police are investigating what has been determined to have been a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 2:42 p.m. on April 29 in the 800 block of North Jackson Street.
Police say on April 29, officers were dispatched to the area of 14th and Rodney Streets in reference to a subject suffering from a gunshot wound related to an incident that did not take place at that location. Police arrived and located a 36-year-old male, who was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Through the course of their investigation, police say Detectives have since determined that the victim’s injury was the result of a shooting incident that took place in the 800 block of North Jackson Street.
Police released no other details, motives, or suspect and say the incident remains under investigation and will release further details when possible.
