Good news tips from people in the community shows up on TV, in newspapers, and at online News media websites in the same way.
We can’t be everywhere so were asking for your help by sending us your images and/or videos to use in a news story.
By submitting video or photos to Delaware Newsline, you confirm that you have all of the necessary rights and permissions to grant us this license for its use, including the following:
a. You confirm that you took the image/video and are its copyright owner. Or you confirm that you are the copyright owner’s authorized agent. In addition, you confirm that you have all of the necessary rights to grant us this license for its use.
b. You give Delaware Newsline non-exclusive permission to reproduce, use, and edit the image/video on all platforms, in all media (now known or hereafter developed), including, without limitation, broadcast, online, streaming, and social media, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, promotional uses, worldwide in perpetuity.
c. You give Delaware Newsline permission to distribute the image/video to Delaware Newsline’s licensees, including, but not limited to, affiliates, partners, assigns, and other licensees, for their use on all platforms, in all media (now known or hereafter developed), including, without limitation, broadcast, online, streaming, and social media, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, promotional uses, worldwide in perpetuity.
d. You understand that you will receive no payment or royalty for any use under this agreement; that Delaware Newsline is under no obligation to use, edit or distribute the material; and that you have no right to inspect or approve any use of the material.
e. Delaware Newsline will however, place a credit line at the bottom of your submitted image(s) or video(s) should Delaware Newsline’s editorial staff decide to use your submitted image(s) or video(s) in a news story.

Since email has an upload limit to 20mb, we've made sending images, videos, and news tips easy!
We use a third party upload provider called We Transfer!. It's free, easy, and there's a limit of 2 gigs for free accounts. Heck, you don't even need an account unless you go over the 2 gig limit.
